I read in some forum that the word Parsi is more correct than Farsi (Arabic form of Persian).

Farsi is more popular. parsi is simply more poetic and archaic.

Well many people use the word Parsi rarely. Parsi is a correct term, but it is very old fashioned. Some Iranians though do care that they should not be influenced by Arabic.
